Study Overview: The study involves testing of a new investigational topical (applied to skin) gel formulation of an androgen receptor degradation agent called “GT20029”. Participation in this trial is strictly voluntary. You can choose to participate in the study, and you can decide to stop taking part at any time without giving a reason.
Purpose: The goal of this study is to find out if the study drug is safe when applied directly to the skin compared to an inactive placebo gel. Possible indications for androgenic alopecia and acne vulgaris.
Visit Notes: After screening to determine eligibility, there will be a 4-day, 3-night in-house stay. The gel will be applied on an 8x8cm patch on the back on Day 1 with periodic blood work and vital sign evaluations until day 3.
Eligibility:
We are looking for healthy participants between the ages of 18 and 60 and in good health.
- BMI must be between 19 and 30
- Must not take any medications
- Must not have any ongoing medical conditions
- Must not have used marijuana within 30 days of screening
- Must not use recreational drugs
- Must not use tobacco products
- Must not use over-the-counter medications, herbal supplements, or herbal teas within 14 days of screening.
- Must be fully vaccinated (completed two-doses)
